Hi

Technically it would be no big problem.

First record a sample then hold SHIFT and press your recorded pad. Now your can adjust the pad volume with the touchpad, adjust the sample start point with the bpm dial and slice your sample with the 1-8 buttons. If you push the bpm dial and then turn it, it allows you to switch between four ...

Hi PaulShookz,

it is maybe a routiong problem where the "wet" sound is routed to the KP´s input again. Does the problem also occur when you connect a audio source to the KP3 but diconnect the output and listen via headphones?

Hi paugui

there are four "fader-modul-ports" inside the zero 8. You could try to connect the non working fader-modul to another port to check if the problem is the modul itself or the mixer.
I can pm you a link to the zero 8 service manual.

Hi Control,

you could try to measure the pad´s resistance with a multimeter.
If it does not change while you touching the pad then it seems to be defect.
Or you could send the touchscreen to somebody who also has a KP3 to check if the touchscreen is working on his pad.

Are you using samples loaded from sd-card? because volume level informations are stored within the loop i guess.
if not try a factory reset.

Sorry for my false reply and thanks for your info gidon!
I did not know this.
Is it written on the power supply?

Hi Daric,

this is hard to realize because
1) the KP Auto bpm counter is , like every one, not 100% perfect and also needs some time to adapt to tempo changes.
2) the KP synchronization via midi clock out is very "unstable". it will loose sync even at the same bpm

Hi gidon,

afaik japan has a 100V power grid and israel 220V therefore
a simple adapter ("plug changer") wont work.
You have to use a different psu like the one you showed.
