Help with KP3 BPM setting

Hi, just bought a 2nd hand KP3 to go with my guitar which has an XY MIDI built into it. Just wondering if anyone knows how to turn off (or turn it down to 0 BPM) the BPM setting as this seems to repeat anything played on the KP3 (on certain channels). All I want is for me to play one swipe and then it to stop, but it just repeats the exact thing I just swiped (which I dont want).

First record a sample then hold SHIFT and press your recorded pad.
Now your can adjust the pad volume with the touchpad, adjust the sample start point with the bpm dial and slice your sample with the 1-8 buttons.
If you push the bpm dial and then turn it, it allows you to switch between four different sample Play types.
