John - The thing that is killing me about the delay is that my setup is exactly the same as when I use my Extreme - I just replaced the Extreme with the Kronos. And there was no delay with the Extreme. Also, the sequence data comes in the midi in from the laptop and the Vl70M is connected to the ...

Thank you for the informative response. However, if I hear you right, in a nutshell, my new $2.5k keyboard can't process midi data as fast as my 9 year old board, and it is much too sensitive to be out on gigs (and still does not have a cue list. :) ). So effectively, I upgraded my workhorse for a ...

I bought a Kronos X 61 on Black Friday. I have been slowly setting it up to replace my Extreme (which replaced my Triton Studio with replaced my Triton...). Aside from the fact that the Cue list is not there (which I am sure has been talked about...) I also have experienced the crash. First time was ...

I could use a laptop also. The point was not have to bring any extra equipment.

Unfortunately, those are alternatives to replace the cue list feature of combining parts to get a song. I used it as a real-time midi file player where each "sng" was a complete song and the only other possible alternative was the midi file player with the jukebox function, which also got removed ...

You can do it with the old fashioned copy & paste method. Cue list was only ever really useful in simple setups and is kinda clunky. I don't know why I keep seeing this sentiment all over the message boards. it is almost like korg is trying to make us happy that they dropped the ball. Just because ...

Anyone have any idea where I can get breath controllable programs for the Kronos? Did it come with any? I am looking for programs that are fully controlled by breath, so I can leave my VL70m at home on small gigs.

I can't believe it. I bought the Kronos when it first came out. I was on the Sweetwater waiting list. I have been so busy, I have not had time to set it up for live gig use until now. For me, with out the Cue List, this is a paper weight. I was so excited when I saw that the sequencer memory was ...

Need old OS

Does anyone have the 1.0.0 OS install files for the Triton Extreme? I have a TE That I got when they first came out (with 1.0.0), and I bought a second one a year ago (with 1.0.5). The newer one drops midi data when it is coming from an unpowered midi interface, and the old one does not. Korg claims ...

I would be real embarrassed if I was in Sharps shoes. He said he was a little broke at the time. Now it seems that he is being made a charity case. What ever happened to discretion. This wasn't, and isn't, about 'charity'. Some of the members of IA would merely like to support this site, and feel ...

I agree with some of the previous posts that a required subscription is a bad idea. I have seen many sites that provide a link to PayPal and state that contributions are accepted. I think that is what we need. Put me in line to "voluntarily contribute" please.

I used to use it for wind/brass and guitar. Then I got a VL70m and I only used it for guitar. Then I get the TE and now I rarely use it at all. I keep trying to find someone to program me a realistic flute (I really want many wind/brass instruments but will settle for a flute) that uses the MOSS and ...

I voted Yes, but I only use the Sequencer for live playback of songs that I created on my PC.
