Need old OS

Post by yatrg »

Does anyone have the 1.0.0 OS install files for the Triton Extreme? I have a TE That I got when they first came out (with 1.0.0), and I bought a second one a year ago (with 1.0.5). The newer one drops midi data when it is coming from an unpowered midi interface, and the old one does not. Korg claims the hardware is exactly the same but did not have the old OS for me to try and replace the 1.0.5 with.
Does anyone have any of the older installs? Or is there a way to get the OS off of one machine and onto another?
Thanks.

What about 1.0.3? I belive it is the oldest update available online. But seems like it is no longer available, so maybe any user on this forum owns it.
As I know, the Triton operating system dump cannot be performed so there is no way to transfer the system.

1.0.3 would be fine if anyone has it. Send me a private message and I will give you my email address. Thanks.

In all my years running this place I've never heard of anyone downgrading.
I would be very careful if you plan on doing this. I have a funny feeling that this is not good for the keyboard and it could end in your EP-ROM being fried.

Personally, I would be checking the voltage coming from the Midi Out and comparing it with your other Triton.

Regards.
Sharp.
