Yes, Sam is right, you can record the tracks in any order. I just wanted to tell you the easy way how you can start to learn to make a style. Afterwards when you learn how things are done, you can do more advanced stuff.

Well, if you have a SET and you're not sure that it's a PA500 SET, then you should only load the STYLE and SOUNDS folder, DO NOT load the GLOBAL folder ...or DO NOT load the whole SET if you are unsure. And make sure you do a FULL RESOURCE BACKUP before you load anything

OK. The loops (as you call them :)) are samples and you can't load them in pa500 since it doesn't have a sampler. You cannot load those that your friend created because he used samples(loops). Yes you can load customized sets for pa500. You just can't load samples... There are plenty of sets for your keyboard on the Internet. You can also make your own styles and sounds on pa500. It depends on what you have: a single style, a bank of styles, or a .SET folder 1. Copy a style or a style bank to an USB ... or for example: copy a .SET folder to USB, put the USB in the slot and push MEDIA button... open that folder ...inside you'll find a STYLE folder ....open that folder ...
