Thanks for the reply :) It's good to know it works the same in several other Korg models. The Kronos sounds interesting, will have to try one out sometime. Catagories can certainly work in the studio, or even manualing scrolling through each patch to get the sounds you want. For live play, I found I ...

Korg Combi/Prog bank order format

Hello, I have owned both a Korg TR and Trinity and while I love the sound and utility of Korg keyboards, one thing frustrates me greatly. The combinations and programs in both these (and many other Korgs I'm sure) are listed in banks A, B, C and D but at first there seemed to be no logical order or ...

Thanks.

I did some more research on the model and CME in general. It seems that almost every review says they have nothing but eventual problems with CME's quality and the keyboards just don't hold up. Maybe I should just save up for something better.

I don't recall a CME model with weighted keys, which one was it?

Weighted action MIDI controller

Hi guys, I'm in the market for a weighted action MIDI controller. I don't care about the number of keys or functions but since it would be to gig with I don't really want to spend more than $400. Does a decent one even exist in that price range? I'm very happy with my Korg TR, but I want some better ...

Right, you only have 2 IFX to work with as you probebly know. What you could do is assign one IFX to the handclap and drums to enhance them, then the second IFX which would be the rotary/leslie effect to the Old Tone Wheel Organ in addition to the first IFX. You will only be given one IFX on the ...

I haven't read of anyone doing that... taking the sounds from thier TR to the PC. What would be the purpose anyhow? Sharp has already stated that taking any Korg sounds and attempting to put them on another keyboard is against the User Agreement. What other purpose could you have than doing that, in ...

The Pa2xPro retails for around $3000-$4000 and the LE/TR at only around $800-$1200

Are you really trying to compare the two?

I am thinking the IFX might be the only way.

Looked like a good deal, missed it though. I will keep my eyes open for one and also look into similar products.

Thanks, I did some reading up on that and it sounds pretty nice. Would be excellent to include pre-amp and effects in one unit. I did not notice if it had returns and sends for a loop etc.

I did notice however that it is discontinued, so I am curious what the company has created to replace it.

Fed up with vocal equipment.

Alright, I sing as well as play my Korg live, which, if you have done before can be rather challenging. If that wasn't hard enough, I am using a very haphazardly put together rack for my vocal units. Right now, I have a Furman power conditioner, a chinsy Beringer de-esser "pre-amp" unit, and a ...

I believe in the Clobal settings you can change the settings for your damper pedal. Check there to get started.

Well, I am guessing that you have a single core 1.5GHz, which may max out using Cubase which is very intensive on the system. That shouldn't cause your pc to reboot but it could given the right situations. How many tracks do you have running? It should not be a problem with your TR but a problem ...
