korg tr 88 and Cubase SX2

Post by altarkus2000 »

Hi folks, I've got a problem when I want to use the sounds of my TR 88 in Cubase SX2. After a while the recording begins, my PC reboot! I don't know what to do! The TR Owner's Guide doesn't help! Before the TR I used to have a Roland D70 and there were ok. My PC is AMD 2200 (1.5 GHz) RAM 512 MB, Soundcard M-Audio Audiophile Delta 192.

If somebody knows, please help me! Thanks

Well, I am guessing that you have a single core 1.5GHz, which may max out using Cubase which is very intensive on the system. That shouldn't cause your pc to reboot but it could given the right situations.

How many tracks do you have running? It should not be a problem with your TR but a problem with your computer and Cubase.

Download from torrent site: Registry machanic (version 5), to clean the crap that can add up.
1. Defragment hard drive
2. Use disk clean up to clean temporary internet files etc
3. Computers need to be spring clean often or they f*ck up.

Once you've got it working fine, use a program like "true image" to make a backup else where so if your hard drive dies or you get a killer virus, you can set it up the way it is now effortlessly.

LOOK AFTER YOUR COMPUTER AND IT WILL LOOK AFTER YOU PEOPLE!

Hi guys, today I've found that my PC reboot without Cubase SX running or something else! It reports this message:

BCP3 : 00000000 BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

What does it mean?????

Thanks in advance!!!
