OFF TOPIC - 150 YEAR OLD SYNTHESIZER
This instrument is essentially unchanged since 1862. I wonder how the Kronos will be in 2163. If you watch a little of each demo, you will get a much better understanding of the capability. Remember, in 1862 there was no electricity, and before blowers were added, this instrument required a bunch of ...

EXCELLENT CUSTOM COVER
I had a Custom Cover made for my Kronos 61. It fits perfectly and was reasonably priced. Delivery took several weeks. For a 73 or 88 you would need to specify a greater width. The spec "2 in. Down Back" allows the cover to be installed with all cables plugged in because the cover only extends over ...

DO NOT USE RAIN-X
Rain-X? Rain X contains alcohol and silicones. These chemicals will harm the plastic LCD screen and other plastics and the silicones will be almost impossible to remove. The solutions recommended by Stephen Kay contain only food grade chemicals which are not harmful to plastics and are non ...

AKG K550 vs. DENON AH-D200 on Kronos
I obtained the new AKG K550 for comparison with the Denon AH-D2000 fed from the headphone output on my Kronos 61. I also measured the AKG K550 with a test jig using a Bruel & Kjaer 4135 1/4" laboratory standard microphone. Both headphones had adequate loudness when fed from the Kronos. The AKG was ...

DENON AH-D2000
The Denon AH-D2000 work well with the Kronos. They have adequate sensitivity and extended and phenomenal low distortion low bass response to 16 Hz. Korg Japan Communication
I feel this thread should remain open unless Korg Japan decides to communicate clearly and completely the facts about the problem. Korg Japan's communication is terrible, and Korg US cannot fix that.
