Re: Is it still a good investing in a used Korg Triton Extre

I am looking at a used KORG Triton Extreme. Is it still worth the investment into this model? I have a KORG Pa3X and a KORG TR, but am thinking about the Triton Extreme. I have priced the KORG Kronos X but after the expenses I paid for the Pa3X, I only have finances available for Extreme. Any ...

All sorted, thanks Bill!

Incidentally, bought a 16GB Memory stick...after reading a few posts here (going back a couple of years) I panicked thinking it was too big. Suffice to say, it works absolutely fine.

Cheers,

Pete.

Actually, that's fab...I've an oldish laptop with a separate Floppy drive. Where there's a will there's a way...

AS long as I can get the PROG/COMB/SEQ data to that, I should be able to make this work.

You're a star!

Thanks, That's just what I needed. Yes, the Triton's Disk drive still works fine (I've got songs on disks and all sorts). So...I should look at the USB floppy drive then. I take it the Extreme will read the floppy's through USB port then? Sorry, I'm a bit of a tried & tested Trinity/Floppy apologist ...

So I bought a Triton Extreme...

Thus far, really happy with it. A quick question if I may... I have a Triton classic that has some treasured / well used Combi sounds. How can I (quickly) get some created COMBIs (from Staple PROGS) from a Classic into the Extreme without the disk drive option. I have use of a PC but no floppy disk ...

Disappointed, this is the second time I have recently posted and not even received a single response. it would be great if someone even said, sorry, I can't help, but nobody does. I removed my last post because I was embarassed at the lack of response - I managed to repair the failed power supply ...

Take your point. But just planning on using it as a preset machine. What I don't like about the M50 (or the Krome for that matter): 1. Can't find a way to change sounds easily for live gigs. Kronos's set list function would sort this perfectly (actually I like the look of the Kross's favourites ...

"... Micro X (Orange) case" That would probably get a waiver as a computer-type device. Subject to x-ray inspection. Probably doesn't weigh enough to throw off your two-bag limit, but would count as one. Might need a "special" status (read: pay more to carry this on) because it is longer than the ...

Hi Make sure you get a good flight case. Some companies call it a full flight case rather than a semi flight case. My mate had a really nice custom made guitar on a flight once and the case was so badly damaged due to baggage handler throwing it arround, the guitar only just survived it. The case ...

Taking Synths on Flights?

A bit of advice needed. Got a gig abroad coming up soon. At the request of the organizer, I will need to take 1 synth with me. Back line will be provided etc... Never done this before so I'm curious as to whats involved. Only going for 2 nights/3 days How does it affect you luggage weight? Extra ...
