So, someone in GB make me an offer. Played at home and at one band rehearsal. Just couldn't get on with it. Still gigging with my 15 year old N364.
As new, box, manuals, software and custom-built flightcase. Just want to get rid of it. Thinking about a Kronos ...

Take your point. But just planning on using it as a preset machine. What I don't like about the M50 (or the Krome for that matter):
1. Can't find a way to change sounds easily for live gigs. Kronos's set list function would sort this perfectly (actually I like the look of the Kross's favourites buttons too ...)
2. I've got a bit of a hang up about not being able to get program insert effects into combinations. I understand the Kronos can do this.
Not planning anything clever - just for live use.

1. I'm not sure what you mean with chang sounds in respect to the Kronos's set list ... With PCG Tools (see my link) you can easily rearrange programs/combis for M50 (and other) PCG files, so it can be used as 'alternative' for Kronos set lists.
2. When you want to copy a program to a combi you can copy it together with the effects, at least for the first program, so copy the most important program first, then you need to copy the rest manually.

Developer of the free PCG file managing application for most Korg workstations: PCG Tools, see https://www.kronoshaven.com/pcgtools/
The M50 can arrange sounds using the User Groups (Catagory). I assigned all my "GIG" sounds to User Bank 17 & they all appear on screen together. It's really easy to do. You can even have sub groups off the user groups. Rather than patch changeing or number inputting, they are all there to view in one place...a simple up & down will also change to within the group rather than where they are within the banks. Before you sell, have a play with your screen... it's all controllable & Bank buttons do different things to Catagory buttons.chrisfp99 wrote:Take your point.
