Thank you getting back to me and sorry for being so vague. I have a EMX-1 and I want to be able to add more drum sounds than just 1-5, 6A, 6B, 7A, 7B while creating a drum pattern. something tells me Easy Off is too powerful. The stuff I used, didn't cause me to cough or anything, EO makes me choke. with any of these products, one should perform the application outside or in a well-ventilated area, and if you're going to be in close proximity to the "over-spray", use a mask!

you can take the face plate off, after removing the knobs. not difficult at all.

in order to record audio from your Electribe to your PC, you must have an audio interface. MIDI only transmits note and control information, not sound, which is why you're not hearing anything from the Electribe; the sounds you are hearing are those of Ableton being applied to the MIDI information ...
