Route each oscillator to separate FX paths in Program?

Is this possible?

I want to have a Program with 2 AL-1's and they each go through separate fx paths not summed together until after.

I can't figure out a way without making it a Combi which I don't want to do for other reasons.

Thanks.

I'm getting some lovely warm tubey distortion by running (36) Tube PreAmp Modeling in IFX slot 1 and then the second Rotary (75) in slot 2.

Now we're talking!

This is awesome! Thank you so much. I've been wanting something closer to the VB3 leslie sound and this comes much closer.

Now, it would be great to get the tube distortion a little fatter too.

Hmmm....

A heads up for Casio PX-5S/Kronos users...

I use a Casio PX-5S Midi'd to my Kronos 61. The Casio is a great, lightweight weighted-keybed controller for the piano type sounds. I'm a relatively new Kronos owner so when I noticed the Rhodes sounds sounding oddly different when I played them on the Casio vs when I played them on the Kronos, it ...

Is there a way to change which Timbre the Tone Adjust sliders control on the fly?

I'd like to have to different B3's in a Combi and control the drawbars for one of them, press a button, and then the sliders control the drawbars of the other B3.

Possible?

Thanks!

Mac sample editor?

What is anyone using these days for editing samples on the Mac? And especially something that has good looping tools? I've been looking around and it seems that these days, "looping" almost always refers to getting a 2 bar drum beat to repeat, rather than what's needed for making good samples for ...

No apologies, I so appreciate your help!

So, yes, Timbre Thru was on.

I turned it off, and now the sustain pedal only works when Karma is on, but the Kronos keyboard still plays the other timbre when Karma is on.

I just tried it again on a fresh Init Combi. - Casio plugged into Kronos via USB - Sustain pedal plugged into Kronos Damper pedal input - Casio set to transmit on channel 16 - Timbre 1 set to German Grand and Timbre 16 set to a B3 - All other timbres turned off - In KARMA - GE Setup/Key Zones - - In ...

Yeah, but I really like the idea of just one pedal. I'll never have to think about which one and one less piece of gear. I'll probably just put the sustain pedal on the Casio because 99% of the time, the Casio will have some kind of piano patch while the Kronos 61 would have a B3 or synth. Although ...

Yes, Zone range for A is C-1 to C-1.

In the MIDI Filter/Zones > Keyboard Zones tab, I tried setting the zone range for timbre 16 -> C-1 to C-1, but then the Casio keyboard doesn't play that timbre.

And yes, the Thru in Z and Thru out Z are checked off.

Actually, it did work, but with a bad side effect. Now, when I play the Kronos keyboard, it also plays the sound on timbre 16 along with timbre 1. I unchecked the Timbre Through box but that doesn't make a difference. I guess I might have to plug the sustain pedal into the Casio like HardSync ...

Thank you. That worked.

Seems like a lot of work to just get the damper working on other channels. I guess it's because the damper, pitch bend and mod wheels (and keyboard) are hard wired to the global channel. Maybe I'm spoiled that the pedal has a setting for Master Volume.

Thanks again.
