Is it being sent on the global channel? If yes is there anyway I can override this feature? In combi mode (timber), I'm assigning Track 1 status to EXT, so I have no internal sound; and while in combi mode, dialing in a combi # sends the appropriate pc number according to what was dialed in. I can ...

also has anyone pushed the envelope to see of the kronos would recognize more than 4gb? I remembered motif xs was only supposed to be able to read 1gb, then some Guy tested 2gb and it worked....no one believed him for a very long time.... now everyone knows. Even 4Gb will not be fully recognized ...

You'd have 8 knobs available in tone adjust mode. Yes you would have to give up one drawbar. Busch. Here's another approach: Instead of using split mode within a CX3 program, I use two timbres for the upper and lower manuals in a combi (as discussed above). Since every timbre in a combi has its own ...

Re: My 3 months of ownership review....
Organ - Paired with a Ventilator this board is ready for the heavy organ gig. The cx-3 is great and it's weakness is completely fixed by a vent. Full draw-sliders, I think, make this engine surpass the Nords, especially with setlist mode (see below). You can also run a vent from an assignable out ...

some thoughts about setlist mode
Setlist mode is great! Having said that, I think it could be even better if it was more focused on what is really needed on stage. The problem is that it seems a bit overambitious, trying to tell you too much. Too much information is crammed into the available space and I think that in this case ...

Let me add, Thomann is the last place I'd buy anything. In my experience, local dealers would normally match or beat Thomann prices if the buyers do a good job in negotiating. I do buy from Thomann regularly. They usually are fast, reliable and offer good service. (Just received a pair of Genelec ...

I would very much like to simplify my rig and get rid of the little mixing desk I've been using on stage, so connecting my second board to the Kronos' inputs was among the first things I tried. Turns out that the routing options are great, so all the necessary flexibility is there. (I'd like to see ...

CX-3: Do these parameters make sense?
I'm a bit confused by how the settings for mic distance in the CX-3's Leslie sim behave. What I notice is this: lowering the value increases the volume of the respective driver (horn or rotor). This is the expected behaviour, since according to the Parameter Guide, lower values bring the mics closer ...

Velocity intensity on the other hand does affect loudness, but it only allows to compress the overall dynamic range. That's not correct. Negative values compress the dynamic range, positive values expand it. I'm currently using a 61 and use +40 to provide a wide dynamic range. I should have been ...

Even with the same global velocity curve, you can get a very different feel by changing the program parameters like Amp Velocity Intensity, Velocity to Filter EG intensity, OSC Multisample bottom velocity, etc. I think Amp Velocity Intensity is available on Tone Adjust as well so you can edit this ...
