Maybe it is better to write to Korg (support) directly.

I understand everybody who has a Korg wants an editor asap, but it's human to want everything ASAP.
For myself (and also since I don't have a Kronos myself yet), I hope they test it well.

You are all right: I should have used the old thread.
I asked the German Korg Support: they had no info either.

Still I think someone at Korg should know and should tell.
Not knowing if it's a matter of days, weeks or months is not great.
I just want to be informed about the state of things, that's all.

5 months and no kronos.

Here is the state of the editor: It isn't ready and is being worked on.

Was that just to prove our point Dan ? 2 months since anybody from Korg spoke about the editor

I'm sorry to have been unclear on my intent, which was simply that we don't have anything more to say at the current time.

Dan and Rich, I appreciate both your open and direct ways of discussing things in here! I'm just irritated by the deafening silence about the editor.

Of course I never had serious doubts that the editor - being part of the Kronos offer - is really in work. So that answer frankly was no news to me.

My expectation is, that someone at Korg should regularly communicate with the editor development team, and that the development team should meanwhile(!) easily be able to say a bit more than just that the editor is in work. Be sure I am aware that even a great development team can still run into trouble causing delays, but I can hardly imagine one without ANY schedule, and I also expect their schedule to become much more concrete with the ongoing progress of the project.

When Access announced another OS update at Namm 2011, they just answered the inevitable "when" question with a rough date (naming a month for probable release), just like the Sonar X1 team just did (X1c in August).

I fail to see why something like this shouldn't be possible in some similar way for Korg and the Kronos editor. In June I understood the answer, but two months later I have problems hearing it repeated without anything remotely concrete.

Also, Kronos being marketed like it comes with that editor is not a nice thing to do when the editor is non-existent yet.

But that's not the case.

My question stands as explained above.
Do you think it is inappropriate?

I'm sorry, but apart from our answer above, I have no other comment at this time.
