Thanks THT, I had a vague idea I'd read something similar.

Slightly reassuring it's not anything else, but annoying nonetheless.

Given it's a volume drop on the Mini-KP, anyone any ideas how I can combat it beyond just adjusting everything else to fit in with the Mini-KP's output?

Mini-KP Signal Loss

I just bought a mini-KP to put at the end of my signal path and it seems to be cutting my signal. The set-up is this: I have various inputs going into a mixer, then out to my K-Pro for looping, etc, then out to the speakers - everything's working fine. Now, instead of going to the speakers I'm ...

Thanks, xmlguy. Prompt and knowledgable as always. Am I right in thinking that your adapter needs to supply more milliamps than the device needs, and when it supplies less (such as a 300 mA supply for a 500 mA rated device), it could overheat? Does this mean the KO-1 and mini-KP are therefore rated ...

Kaossilator/Mini-KP Power Supply

I have searched for this on the forum, been through the stickies and looked at both manuals, but no joy. Soooo....what is the correct UK power supply unit for the original Kaossilator (KO-1) and the original Mini-KP? The manual states 4.5V centre-positive for both, but nothing about mA. Google ...

K-Pro Loop Problem

After many aeons of happy use with K-Pro (it's been about eighteen months since my last post, anyway), I'm suddenly getting a strange behaviour. I'll record say, drums and bass on bank 1 and 2, then go to bank 3 to record a lead and decide to change the loop length from 8 to 16. So I press shift and ...

Ohhhh...I'll probably get one then...

Still no word on the loop length though, or have I missed it? At 1.44, it gives the choices of 8 beats and 4 beats. Surely there must be 16 at least?

Don't like the curvy design either. I play mine flat on a surface next to all the other stuff. I can see that fella slipping about like a bar of soap when I get excited.

Anyway, nice to see the gate/arps are back, but haven't seen the answer to the BIG question: HOW LONG ARE THE LOOPS? 16? 32? More?

Are you sure it isn't a quantise issue? That causes some lagginess when you record - or rather, it doesn't play back the way you played it (which is sort of the point, of course), but might be causing the stutters.

Go to the app store, go to 'Updates' in the bottom right. There should be a prompt there to update it.

iKaossilator track names

Quick question: is it possible to rename your own saved songs/tracks on the iKaossilator? If so, how?

Nice.

And don't put yourself down, you're making music - that makes you a musician.

You only have to look at Youtube to see there are plenty of people out there with similar gear unable to make such a cool noise.
