set the key zone you want to use the drum sample on (I'm assuming it's a cowbell from one of the kits) transpose the drum track to get the cowbell to sound on the key you've zoned for it then lower the pitch / tuning of the cowbell...I used to do that with handclaps all the time...I could tune them ...

you can do it using RPPR but why not just just play it live?
I split the combi over 2 boards - play the high whistle part with my left hand (bottom keyboard: kronos) and the riff / main synth part with my right (top keyboard: m-audio controller)...

I've made that patch many times over the years...haven't tried in on the kronos but I would suggest writing a combination using two of the same sawtooth programs - there's plenty of close sounding ones in synth leads or fast synths...detune them for thickness, add portamento and you should be on ...

I use RPPR for my harp gliss...I recorded it live over a 2 octave range then assigned it to the low C# to trigger it (in sequence mode of course) I'm pretty sure I found a youtube tutorial to walk me through - but from what I remember it wasn't terribly complicated...

problem saving audio track, help please...

hi...I recorded a sequence last night and (for the first time) added an audio track (stereo) of guitar, I'm still trying to figure out how to save to the ssd - I obviously did something wrong, so now when I try to load the sequence it won't let me and says I need to copy the audio and load it from ...

krome preset sounds different than kronos?

can anyone tell me if the preset sounds in the krome are different than the presets in the kronos? I have a kronos 61, recently sold my m388 and want to get a new 88 key synth...I'd prefer a board with its own sounds as opposed to just a controller and obviously don't want duplicate sounds I already ...

fx question...

is there a way to assign the record turntable effect to a switch or value slider? I only need to turn it on and off for one part of a song but the effect when selected is constantly on... so far I've been getting around it by opening up the menu and manually turning it on and off from the insert fx ...

I would set it up in a combi as follows: (let's use a symth lead sound) D E F# G A B C# F# G A B C# D E part 1 synth lead - key zone D4 through C#5 part 2 synth lead - key zone D4 through D4 - transposed +4 ( F#) part 3 synth lead - key zone E4 through G4 - transposed +3 ( G / A / B ) part 4 synth ...

it weighs about 50 pounds and breaks down very easily...fortunately there's enough room on our truck that I keep it assembled, but even if I took it apart completely I couldn't see it taking more than 2-3 minutes to set up...I paid $299.00 (I got the 2 tier model) and that included the shipping to ...

just bought one of these...love it - I'm 6'4" and it's always been a problem to find a stand that goes up high enough...this is hydraulic up and down and rotates 360...looks great on stage too!

very easy, just set your key zone on the drum track to A#0 (bottom & top) you'll probably have a kick drum or something when you play it...then go into the timber parameter, pitch page and transpose that track up (+) until you hear the cowbell...the kronos can shift at least +/- 48 and the cowbell ...

in program mode just transpose the 2 oscillators to the pitch you want, then save it to a new location - OR - copy the program (bari sax) into a combi (don't forget to copy the insert & master effects) transpose the pitch (should be under the timbre page) then save the combi...
