Sounds awesome. I can't wait to purchase My only comment is that other than this forum, I would be unaware of this product. If I Google search "progressive metal lead patches Korg Kronos", your product doesn't show up. I don't really know how Google Searches work, but if that is something you can ...

Isn't that essentially what Korg did with the Oasys ? they released a hardware platform and then releases new engines/vsts for it in theory they included 9 plugouts with the kronos and could add new ones if they wanted to since they haven't done so in the few years the kronos has been out I tend to ...

Gospel Musician who loves Kronos
Just for the record Jamal (who owns Gospel Musicians) loves the Kronos and did several youtube videos praising the KRonos and its sounds. ITs all a matter of personal opinion, of course, but I far prefer everything about Korg and the KRonos over whatever Yamaha and ROland have. I used to use a Motif ...

TO JEREMYKEYS So at a high level I agree with you. I have a synth with 9 diverse synth engines--I should be able to create any sound I want. So there's no question that the sonic possibilities exist within the Kronos. However I am not a synth programmer anymore. In 1990 my first synth was a Yamaha ...

Phase Cancellation
TO BURNINGBUSCH: THanks for the mp3 example to illustrate the problem. How apparent do you think that would be in an actual performance? It was quite apparent in this isolated test, but I am thinking that in a live performance with other instruments playing (ie-- a bass and drums and possibly vocals ...

thanks
thanks for everyone's replies 1) I will try the non CX3 organs through the Neo first 2) I wasn't going to sample percussion (or leslie), but I probably would have left the chorus on--which based on what people are saying would probably have caused problems so I will leave that off and just use the ...

Organ Sampling Question--am I missing something?
I have a Kronos and organ sounds are a big part of my set. The Kronos CX3 organ sounds good, but even with the 2.1 upgrade it is not quite as realistic as I was looking for. I have a Neo ventilator which helps A LOT but is still not perfect. I recently started starting running my Hammond A102 ...

Need guidance on sampling/multisample edits
I have a patch from a VST that I'd like to use in my Kronos. I've sampled that sound and created wav files for each note. I'm not clear on how actually use that sound in my Kronos. I've gone to the sampling page on the Kronos and tried to bring in each sample, but I am finding it very frustrating ...

CX3 Engine Questions (realtime drawbar control + bass pedal)
Currently I use a program with the CX3 engine and the keyboard is split between and upper and lower manuals. If I want to play two manuals and bass pedals, I couldn't do that with a program because a) the cx3 only supports 2 sets of drawbars and b) it only transmits on 1 midi channel. Is that ...

Cautiously Happy
I am happy with it. Although I did turn it on one day and got a system failure. Fortunately I was able to restore. Still I always get a little nervous everytime I turn it on since then!
But as far as features and sound, yes I am very happy with it.

Jamsire It's big of you to apologize. Kudos to you. I will admit that when I first saw your post last week, I could only mildly sympathize/empathsize with your feelings. But when I got the startup failure a few days on my Kronos, I internally went through everything you posted! I was able to restore ...
