Need guidance on sampling/multisample edits

Post by mymusic42 »

I have a patch from a VST that I'd like to use in my Kronos. I've sampled that sound and created wav files for each note. I'm not clear on how actually use that sound in my Kronos.

I've gone to the sampling page on the Kronos and tried to bring in each sample, but I am finding it very frustrating. My "top key" seems to be stuck at C2 and I can't assign notes higher than the low octaves of the keyboard.

I've read the manual and help, but it doesn't seem to be as straightforward as I would like. I thought this would be as simple as choose a sample, assign to a specific note. But that doesn't appear to be the case.

Does any have any advice, hints, etc about how to create a patch in the Kronos based on my own samples?

Thanks

I don't do it enough to explain. Try YouTube. There are videos on the process.
