thanks, I am trying now this with Cakewalk plugin but another question arose . Can R3 serve as audio out as well over that USB cable? Traveling right now and don't have any audio interface with me. I don't see korg on audio devices list.

not good, it's look like bad soldering around the outputs
I read somewhere it's common problem for korg R3.
I would take soldering gun and re-solder all places around the outputs,
because something like that can be not even visible.

I wanted to use it with pianoteq as midi controller but delay is too big.
Is it possible to use directly with my laptop without any additional audio interface?

thanks, I want to load the new expansions programs and create my own sounds too but wouldn't like to mess up all current programs and how they're assign to category knob...

I mean empty spots in memory, or I have to overwrite some to save my new one? The manual is kinda vague.

perhaps the R3 just didn't sell too well. I go out to local shows like twice a week and I've yet to see anyone in my city playing one. I still see a few microKorgs out there, but mostly everyone is using anything vintage. I don't think so R3 is not selling well because it keeps the price strong ...

looks like that shift works fine, but effect I guess cannot do to voice.
It's cool anyway.

well, that's what I wasn't sure, this is my very first korg

BTW USB cable din't come with the unit, kinda cheap from korg.
Roland and yamaha always included all cables especially if they include software.

OK, just bought R3 as a supplement to my motif XS for gigs and as a to go keyboard. I hope R4 won't be release next week
