well, that's what I wasn't sure, this is my very first korg :)

BTW USB cable din't come with the unit, kinda cheap from korg.
Roland and yamaha always included all cables especially if they include software.

I think they'll release the R3S pretty soon. Then the R4 :P
Korg R3, Roland SH-201, Roland MC-909, Novation Mininova, Novation Impulse 49, Korg EMX, and a bunch of VSTi's

It really seems unlikely that Korg would put out a successor to the R3 until they actually release a bigger VA synthesizer. At the moment, they are releasing yet another microKorg. This time it's the XL+ which is still based on the Radias engine. Seeing how the first XL was released only a year after the R3, perhaps the R3 just didn't sell too well. I go out to local shows like twice a week and I've yet to see anyone in my city playing one. I still see a few microKorgs out there, but mostly everyone is using anything vintage.
Roland Juno-60, SH-101, TR-606, MC-505, Casio CZ-101, Yamaha DX100, DX11, Kawai R-50e // Korg R3, microSTATION, Monotribe, MS-20 Mini, SQ-1, minilogue, electribe sampler, Volca series: Bass, Keys, Beats, Sample, FM, Kick, Moog Theremin

I don't think so R3 is not selling well because it keeps the price strong after few years, even on ebay. Besides that baby really sounds good... 8)
