Benny Benassi - Satisfaction and Kesha - Blow. Please help.
All righty, I'm definitely a hack at this and I'm learning true synth functions as I go. So my question is, does anyone know what synth function it takes to get that sliding synth sound in both of those songs? Not the sound, the actual function or effect that makes the smooth slide between pitches ...

Some things that I've done because we don't sequence
I would definitely use the arpeggiator, if it were me, especially on the Muse one. Every time you hit a new key, it retriggers. As fast as that's moving, nobody would ever notice if it were off by fractions of bpm's. Which brings up another point, be sure to set the bpm to the proper speed when you ...

Squealing sound in House of Pain, Jump Around
Any thoughts on how to replicate the squealing sax sample in Jump Around? Yes, I've heard that it's a sample of Prince screaming in the beginning of Get Off. I don't believe that to be true. It's a sax squeal from the song Shoot the Shot by JR Walker. Either way, it's mute since sampling is not a ...

Joystick programming
Here's what I want to do...I want to be able to raise the note two octaves when I pull the joystick back (like the two octave jump with the Whammy pedal on the guitar lead for Killing in the Name). Any suggestions? I kind of like program Lead Synth: 075 Mega Lead. The problem? It's already set to ...

Saving seq to SD card...HELP
Ok. So here's the deal. I thought I had this thing figured out and I'm realizing I don't. Or perhaps I do and I REALLY don't like the results. When I save a sequence to the card...if I want to save another song to that same directory...do I have to upload that whole directory to the seq list...then ...

Perhaps I should have chosen my words more carefully. I meant a 'more' realistic sound than it has currently by tweaking it. I certainly know better than to expect a 'real' sax sound any more than you can get a 'real' guitar sound. I'm just looking for something that I can use that will sound better ...

Tweaking Sax Sounds
Ok. Now here is a question that I should be able to ask without getting hammered about being in the 'wrong forum'. On the M50...has anyone tweaked a realistic tenor sax sound?? If so, could you pass on your secret. If not, could you still send me in the right direction on what I should actually be ...
