Another way, it´s to put a pedal on the switch pedal input and on the global mode you assign ¨tap tempo¨and then you have the hands free and the tempo on sync. I used it when i have to play an arpeggio with a drummer, it´s fantastic.

As a midi controller the x50 it`s just right, i use for only a while doing that and then i changed it for an axiom pro. The thing is that you can do everything but it´s a little more complicated, and the other things is that there are not to many controls, you only have four knobs, and the wheels. ...

you have looked on the global page, in the midi settings there you can filter some things that you don´t want to recive or send, there it´s an option for the midi clock.

it´s in the manual, you have to go in the page 2: Track Parameters in the space where it says force OSC mode, there you can change the sound into mono, legato and poly. there you can specify the portamento time and the osscilator of the program that you want to use.
