micro x on ableton 8?

Hi there ,
I would like to know ,if possible how easy is it to connect the micro x as a VST
instrument on ableton live.Also how many midi channels can it possibly play on.?For example the older Virus TI synth only used 16 channels.Does micro x take more?

Hi, the better way to use micro x as a vst on ableton is installing the software and then go to ableton´s live preferences and enable vst usage and you load it as any other vst. You can play at 16 channels at a time, and thats because there no more channels on midi protocol. You will have to use multi mode for you to use it in a proper way.
