Foot switch pedal

Post by Calvi19 »

hi, i´m trying to buy a foot switch pedal for my x50 buy i don´t know what type of foot swicth is the correct one. the ones i´m looking for is the Boss FS-5 series, but my question is i have to buy the Boss fS-5U that is "nonlatching" or the FS-5L that is latch? or if any of those works what is my best option. Thanks

dont know any specific pedals but non-latching (momentary) is the way to go.
you can set up in global mode and in a program's controls whether a non-latching pedal behaves latching or non. but with a latching pedal you're stuck with it like that (and it won't work very well in the damper pedal socket
