vibrato to pitch wheel

hi, i wanted to know who is the best way to set the pitch wheel to control vibrato as well as the pitch. i want to control the sounds like jordan rudess from Dream Theater.

well, you don't have to set anything. jordan uses a technique: he just moves a little the pitch wheel. Check out Keyboard wizardy, is keyboard clinic. He explains it very well there.

As Fravius said he is just using the pitch wheel to do the vibrato. The techique is like you would play a guitar and do the vibrato by slightly moving the strings up and down really fast. You just have to do same with the pitch wheel. Move it up a very little amount and bring it back to center. just do this in a fast way and you will get real manual vibrato with controllable speed.
