Oh man, after all my time spent on the TR, I did not know this. I obviously knew the TR used samples for sounds of acoustic instruments, etc, but I figured it still generated the most basic waveforms itself. This is a bit of a bugger that there is no dynamic PWM. Oh well, I want I think about a 67 ...

Uhmmm...no dynamic Pulse Width Modulation on TR???

So, I've had my TR for probably 2 or 3 years now, so naturally I know the instrument quite well. But. I need to make a Jens Johannson lead, which one component of it is a pulse waveform, which I know IS available on the TR...but as far as I have seen so far, there is no place to adjust the length of ...

thanks, I know how to take it from getting it onto my SD card, I've owned the TR for a few years and am very familiar with it, when it comes to samples, I'm good at manipulating them and creating programs from them, however, the samples themselves, creating them, etc, that's where I get lost. I'm ...

nevermind guys, I figured out that each individual program or "internal voice" on the kurz has to correspond by bank and number as well as the setup or "combi" itself. thanks anyways. I'm a newb to this whole controllers and racks thing. MIDI, MIDI, MIDI. why must you confuse me so?

Fellow PC2R owners/ people familiar with Kurz's setups..HELP

Okay folks, here's the deal! My workstation is a Korg TR61. Me and my band aren't too crazy about the orchestral sounds on it, so we get a Kurzweil pc2R for me to hook up to it. I've had it for a while, but haven't been using it much, as our band has no drummer at the moment and can't rehearse ...

Please Tutor me further: Create multisample using AWAVE.

Okay, so I have read many posts and topics on this subject and am still a little unclear. I shall provide all the details of what I am working with and will ask exactly what I have to do to get the multisample on my board in a functioning kind of way. I am just creating a "loopy" kind of sequenced ...

yep, I did. how does one create a multisample without having the sampling expansion?
I checked out that AWAVE program, I downloaded the trial version, but there seems to be no option for converting to a KMP, just a KSF.

Having trouble loading sample.

I need to load a sample my band uses for m live playing: so I maxed out the RAM in my keyboards, got a nice total of 64 mbs, gold tipped and everything from the good ole' fourniersean ebay store that many here recommended. Anyways, this is a WAV file. I put it on my SD card, went into media mode ...

Controlling Damper Pedal Depth?

I can't seem to find a parameter in which I can control the depth, or length or whatever that my damper pedal affects the sustain of the timbre. Any advice would be nice!

See, but I am looking for a synthesizer with excellent key action. Once I have money for a new addition to my rig I think I'll opt for the M3, seeing as the Tex 88 is no longer available :(.

Would you recommend this rather than program switching VIA pedals?

What exactly does the Hold 10's function do?

I have it on my TR, and it works so that when I switch program/combi up and down, it goes by tens, so I know it DOES, but what is it useful for? On another thread, can't remember for what gear, someone suggested that it is very useful live...howso?

The main reason I am looking at a new board is really because I want weighted keys. Being foremost a classical pianist, I reall don't like to play on anything but hammer action keys.

General Questions regarding the Triton Extreme.

1)Firstly, when was this model put out? because I can't seem to find it in stock ANYWHERE anymore. I have a Korg TR 61, but am looking to upgrade to some 88 key gear, and am considering this and the Korg M3, especially given the M3's new price drop. 2) Is the Triton Extreme better than the TR? I ...

Very good prices on that ebay store. I guess I'll get the ones with the gold contacts. Sounds like the way to go.
