Thanks DrHoo, that was helpful. Can you elaborate on the live sampling process? When I had my chance to get a microSampler on clearance I passed because I was under the impression that it doesn't do live looping like the KP3 does. But now I'm interested in other types of sampling for performance, it ...

roblabs is right about what the sample pads do *after* a sample has been fully loaded; you're right about what they do while sampling is in process. They're not what you want to be looking at however. The TAP/RANGE button at top right is what you want to look at for your purposes. It flashes in ...

The sample banks don't blink or flash, they remain a solid color: orange, red, or green, depending on whats loaded. thanks for all the info! but i just checked again, and the sample bank pads do blink at a different (standardized) tempo when recording. i don't understand why they don't blink at the ...

kp3 looping question regarding tempo

i've been able to lay down some pretty clean loops, but i just want to check if i understand this correctly: first you have to set the tempo by tapping, and there is no way to just set in and out points on your own like normal looping pedal? i'm getting very confused because after i set the tempo ...

just spoke to korg support -
if you're in windows make sure you navigate to All Programs-->Korg
"Install Korg USB-Midi Device"

that got my keyboard recognized and also seems to patch up my crashing problem at the moment

Re: kaossilator - remove a recorded track

i'm trying to figure out if the manual is telling me that it's possible to get rid of one of your most recent overdubs without erasing the whole loop? anyone know? This is possible, yes. Just make sure that each time you are happy with a performance line, to then do the FIX method as described in ...

here's the noise when it hits 11 oclock - there is a mixer before it hits the computer on this so the actual volume level is different but you can hear the noise. and then i turn it up to twelve oclock after a few seconds. 10 oclock is still slightly audible but as bad as 11 oclock but still 11 ...
