PC won't recognize nanokeys

Post by guitarzen »

Got a nanokey yesterday to use with Ableton. My PC will not recognize the nanokey when it is plugged into the USB port and hence Ableton will also not recognize the device. I downloaded and installed the driver for it from Korg.com.
Any one else see this behavior or have a solution?

I am running XP SP2 on a Compaq 8510W

just spoke to korg support -
if you're in windows make sure you navigate to All Programs-->Korg
"Install Korg USB-Midi Device"

that got my keyboard recognized and also seems to patch up my crashing problem at the moment
