Thanks for the response. I had to return it though. Was getting too frustrated. For whatever it's worth, I think it might be a good idea for korg to either start including software with these things, OR, at least make the downloads a bit easier to find on the website. If you type "nanokey" nothing ...

So I realize I'm just talking to myself here now, but what the hell. Just finished installing the nanokey on my new laptop. Followed all the directions, updated the driver, ubstalled the 64 bit downlaod. Everything works fine within cubase 5 (or seemingly so for now). Still can't get the kontrol ...

Just found out I have 45 days to return this thing. Going to give it a run on my laptop, which is what I purchased it for anyhow. Thought I'd see what was up on my desktop first though because the laptop is windows 7 (which I'm not yet that familiar with) along with a 64bit version of cubase 5. If ...

Was hopeful... but alas, it's still not being recognized. Followed directions. Re-did it 2X. Tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver but it would let me do that either. Gave me a list of drivers with the option to only delete the nano driver, but did nothing afterward. Going to restart computer ...

And also now for no reason that I can fathom, the editor is once again NOT recognizing the keyboard. Everything is set as previously... ins and outs. All I did was try different ins and outs and then go back to the what was originally there. Closed and opened the editor a bunch of times and it's not ...

I get a "failed to open midi port" message when I try that. Ok, verify that your MIDI In is set to nanoKEY- Keyboard and MIDI Out is set to nanoKEY - CTRL and let us know if that takes care of it. I may be missing something here. Only place I see that I can change midi setting in the editor is in ...

Update. For some reason the editor decided to recognize the nanokey again. When I select control and keyboar however - none of the controls respond. Can't transpose or change velocity. The menus in the editor function (I can make selections), but no change to the keyboard.

Hi, and thanks for the quick response. Yes. Control editor software. I'm using windows vista. I've tried every possible setting in the preference panel. My available options are the nanokey (which I have selected on both), a line 6 toneport, and on the midi out I'm given an additional microsoft ...

Nano key and controller issues - is this thing worth it????

I've read everything 10X. I've installed, repaired, updated, removed and reinstalled the drivers and kontroller program, restarted my computer several times, and checked the device manager which seems to be fine. One time during all that the kontroller recognized the nanokey, but nothing in the ...

Fixed. Thanks. I found the instructions to reload the original factory settings, which didn't affect the version as I thought it might.

DAMMIT!

I just upgraded my newly purchased studio to the latest version. I seem to have misunderstood the directions about all things getting deleted and thought it meant anything I recorded or saved. : / All my multi programs were deleted, as were my piano sounds and god knows what else. I have the factory ...

I'm new at this and would like to know how to update with a cd as opposed to floppy. Could you explain please? I have no idea what ISO-9660 means, nor how you write a CD in different formats? I'm also unclear about loading the files onto a cd regarding the folders. Any assistance is appreciated ...
