DAMMIT!

Post by joenerve »

I just upgraded my newly purchased studio to the latest version. I seem to have misunderstood the directions about all things getting deleted and thought it meant anything I recorded or saved. : /

All my multi programs were deleted, as were my piano sounds and god knows what else. I have the factory preload disk and a bonus sound pack cd. Am I going to be able to fix this? I don't have the time right now to look into it and I"m simply looking to alleviate my panic state. I will research the manual, but I'd like to know where to start looking, and also know quickly whether I'm skrewed here or not. Thanks.

Any programs in memory that are deleted during the update process are not retrievable.
If you saved your edited programs to disk before the update, then you can reload the data into memory.
If not saved to disk, you can reload the factory data.

Fixed. Thanks. I found the instructions to reload the original factory settings, which didn't affect the version as I thought it might.
