If you have an audio interface don't bother adding an aggregate device.

1- USB to computer

2- Add an "External Midi Track" and select "Kronos Sound" as the Output.
(Do not select "Use External Instrument" It will not record or playback your button pushes!)

3- Add One "Aux Channel Strip" - on the channel strip choose your USBs input.

Rename your track and channel strip to Kronos.
Bring up the fader on the strip, play/record.. have fun! Hope this helps.

An aggregate device gives you a lot more control - but isn't required. I was trying to give examples of the two extremes.

No problem, I understand. I was just trying to suggest the most straight forward way to get up and running before getting involved in other procedures that might cause additional confusion.

Sure - I just wanted to make sure that it was clear that this has advantages and not just "busy work"

I am pretty sure the OP is not using any additional equipment though.

If this is true then by all means you are correct about using an aggregate device.
