Nice! I'm looking to do the same to mine. Where did you order the parts for the mods? Particularly for the drum snare. Also, have you had any problems with the midi out on either?

I saw that someone recommended the Alesis Q25 in an earlier thread, but my questions is whether there is a similar MIDI keyboard (size-wise more so than price-wise) that also has the ability to remember/record patterns. I am trying to be able to write longer phrases and have those repeat.

I'm looking to process the volca bass through an effects pedal. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts/suggestions. I do not play the bass and therefore don't know a whole lot about the types of pedals. I play techno on my volcas.
