I have around 650 custom samples in the device. Works great. Everything is categorised and ordered. That way its very easy to switch between sounds using the oscillator knob. Couldnt have done it without the mac editor.

Yes, you can only import manually/on the device itself to 500-999.
But if you use the mac editor you can make (read only) banks with custom samples on ~21 to 500. Not sure if the windows editor supports this as well.

Once you timeslice a sample on the E2s it creates a sample in the list for each slice. Only one of the 'slices' can be loaded to each part. You can't trigger multiple drum samples (simultaneously) on one part. So If you got 16 slices and you want to use the entire loop you need to manually assign ...

It is an editor, imo its so completely obvious that people are going to make these, so that there can be no question of stealing an idea. This payed editor is better then the free one ...
