Got a good question there - did much checking and these things seem to be as elusive as the grail itself Any SPDIF/Toslink socket cap will work I didn't realize that something so common would be so hard to find It's as if nobody would ever loose an optical socket dust cap so there's no reason to ...

Thanks for the replies all Did a search previously for the problem but I got no relevant info back until I actually posted the question. Thanks especially to JohnnyAardvark, KrzysiekK and Triton Lounger for not assuming I'm an idiot This is definately not a RAM compatibility issue - I easily came to ...

Fully loaded RAM slots = noise
Found with all sample RAM slots loaded in my TEX, it itntroduced noise into a program I was using in the first octave (prog. A116 Vox Continental) I tried different RAM sticks in different combinations and no matter what, with all three slots filled, I always get this distortion (best described) at ...

The thing is useless without tweaking - presets are fine for a start but without customizing, they sound "pedestrian" and you won't get the best sounds without altering them (especially without the MOSS board) I don't know of any peice of gear that doesn't require user intervention to get the most ...

You know how us hot headed Americans are -serious is our business- I heard Bush is planning on bombing Iran with an infinite number of 12ax7's - gonna be tough to replace them after that happens - I believe my filament glows because I talk kindly to my tube on a daily basis. I wish I could touch it ...

Filament no light - tube no work, this is a basic fact of electronics 101 (in 1950) 1 filament lit - only half of the tube is being utilized (IE: MONO). 2 filaments lit - wallah! STEREO (IE: dual channel) Maybe physics operate differently on the other side of the world but over here, this is the way ...
