Master transpose disabling for Midi in drum channel
I don't know if it has already been mentioned here in the forum, but if you switch on the master transpose for Midi In channels, the drum channel (10) is also transposed. I have not yet found a way to exclude channel 10 from transposition. If you save a midi file on the Pa5X with a master transpose ...

Hi, I'm using a "Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250 Ohm" since 15 years with my Korg PA keyboards up to Pa5X, Mackie Big Knob and several Audio interfaces. It still works perfect for me. The ear pads are very soft and allow hours of continous working. It is still available for a fair price and ear pads are ...

Oh, I see now. Only the Korg drive is showing though, not the USB F. You can either select the Korg internal drive or the two optional SD cards if this cards or at least one are installed. I installed two 64GB SD cards in the Pa5X which work fine and can be accessed this way. As an alternative I ...

... I have a USB cable going from Device port on Pa5X to my PC USB port, but I don't see any Korg drives. Am I using the wrong USB port on the Pa5X? ... Did you select the Korg drive to be published from the Pa5X "File" menu? ... use it standalone and even if I were to use a MIDI cable, I'm stuck ...

I'm using Cakewalk for pre-processing and recording MIDI files. I had connected my old Pa4X via the Korg USB MIDI interface and it worked fine. So I tried to connect the Pa5X same way about half a year ago using the Korg USB midi driver (1.15 r49e 09/22/2022) which does not include the Pa5X in the ...

Issue using Korg USB-MIDI interface on Pa5X
I own my Pa5X for three months now, and after switching from the Pa4X Musikant, I'm trying to get familiar with it so I can do again the things I could do with its predecessors (Pa1X, Pa2X, Pa4X). Unfortunately, when I bought the Pa5X, I was not aware that the Quick Record function, which I often ...

Looking for Tyros XT2 Midi file format converter
Hi together, I bought a midi file from the YAMAHA shop which is only available in Tyros XT2 but nowhere in GM format. So the only way to get it running on the PA2x is to convert the patches manually using a sequencer and the sound definitions of both instruments, but this is very time-consuming ...

Styles also runnable on PA1X
Hi all, I hope that the newly created styles will also be runnable on PA1X (OS V3) apart from the sound quality loss. This would increase the circle of potential customers and according to this the yield for the designers. Since I have switched from Technics to Korg arrangers about 7 years ago I'm ...

Defrag of PA1x pro HD
Hi together,
the more files I copied on the HD of my PA1x the more it seems to get slower and slower.
Has anybody tried to defrag the hardisk via USB connection?
Is this possible and will the HD resp. the songbook still work after the procedure? Any experiences?
Rgds,
Martin

Songbook loading time differences
Hi together, at the moment my personal songbook contains about 100 entries, 50% pointing at styles, 50% pointing at midis. I just wondering now about the different loading times when choosing an entry. It seems that the latest stored entries take more time to be loaded than the prior ones. I accept ...
