I know that when I load a MIDI file in to the Pa5X, I can access all 16 MIDI channels in the mixer in two menus, 1-8 and 9-16. But when playing from Cakewalk (external sequencer), I don't get access to the 16 channel mixer.
If I load a MIDI file in the Pa5X, I can see all 16 channels, but I notice that as I play out from Cakewalk, notes get stuck and the accumulated stuck notes increases over time. It seems to have something to do with the Mute and Solo buttons on the Pa5X mixer. Also, if I solo one track, I still hear multiple other tracks playing.
Accessing 16 Channels Mixer when Ext Sequencer Feeds Pa5X?

Hi,
for my opinion there is one issue with the midi channel display paging of the Pa5X mixer. It is working fine when used from style play or internal midi file play mode (song mode).
In style play mode the selectable mixer pages display the manual upper and lower tracks, the pads and the accompaniment tracks but no the midi channels coming from external.
To display midi data coming from external it is necessary to switch to the song
mode but this can only be done by loading a midi file into the Pa5X.
Then all external midi track data is visualized on mixer pages if the midi setup is correct.
Regards,
Martin
