Try first to re-initialize your keyboards pcm data. If this does not work, you may want to replace ...

the sound is caused by the key assembly screws coming loose, or lack of lithium grease on the action. you could remove the top portion of the keyboard and address this. be very careful not to damage the cable connecting the keybed to the pcb while removing the cover. each set of keys is held in by 3 ...

the krome 88 keybed improves with time and play. from factory the keybed is well filled with lithum grease as a lubricant. with a bit of use it seems to thin out and play a little more quickly than the straight from factory feel.

and just fyi, it is the same keybed as the korg sp-170.

the actual problem when you have velocity sensing issues is that a small amount of lithium grease has wound up in a particular contact. I have found that by wiping the crap out of each contact (both the black carbon on the strip, and the pcb) with a dry q-tip does rather nicely for fixing any ...

ONLY Edirol? The lower end ones might not be that great, but I am running a pair of Edirol MA-15D's and they perform every bit as good as any KRK's ive come across. albeit the lower wattage/woofer size they still do justice to the Krome.. Just be sure to properly adjust your bass/treble trim to your ...

try grab a copy of kromatool from kromeheaven.com they have a nifty little utility for coverting patches from other keyboards. also gives a great resource for using your own samples in patches. your best bet is to look into the waves used in the triton and verify that they are present in the kromes ...
