korg clicky and noisy key

hi all,,,,,
i have a krome 88 and recently i found some clicky and noisy sound on keys
i searched and i saw many has this problem on krome 88 and even kronos 88 ,,,,
also i found this complain on semi-weighted krome and kronos
you can find many videos on youtube about this subject,,,,
but why korg product has this problem ?????
how can i fix it ?????

the sound is caused by the key assembly screws coming loose, or lack of lithium grease on the action.
you could remove the top portion of the keyboard and address this.
be very careful not to damage the cable connecting the keybed to the pcb while removing the cover.

each set of keys is held in by 3 screws, with an additional screw on the uppermost register. to remove key assembly remove screws, and pry upward and backward simultaneously.

be very careful not to disturb the contact strips. if grease gets in these it is a real PITA to deal with clean up. inspect action and grease with white lithium grease if necessary. replace keys and fasten just until snug. dont over tighten the screws, as this may potentially cause velocity issues.

replace ribbon cable.

replace top, and screw together.

if you test as you piece it together for clicks, it will be easy to eliminate.
