You would avoid that if you get yourself an audio interface. I currently have a Kronos, a Nord Stage 2 and a AKG Condenser Mic hooked up. how much are these? and do they have multiple uses with mixer panels, etc.? i could also get around this by using the Kronos mike plug ins. so far, it's not that ...

I agree with Bertotti, it may have been something as simple as rebooting or restarting the computer or something else. All has been working fine since yesterday. The only remaining problem I have now is that I use both a Shure mike USB plug in to the mac and the Kronos. When I want to switch from ...

TRS stands for Tip, Ring, Sleeve it is a type of 1/4 jack. You don't need anything but a USB cable from the Kronos to your Mac. That will send both audio and midi. You do have to make sure everything is set to 48k Well great news guys! Without making any changes, in retrying it today, I can now use ...

Midi and audio are fed separately. Your 1/4" cables are your audio feed while your Midi cables transfer your Midi signal. One thing to check out is and it happened to me is you may require a software update on your audio interface. So, you're saying the USB is the midi feed and 1/4" for audio feed ...

Could be a number of things but things to check would be audio interface (if applicable), cable connections, cables. If you are getting some sort of audio it is not the preferences. I also have both Logic Pro X and a Kronos X and I had issues but they were me not my devices. I would think if the ...

Kronos to Logic X Record Audio Tracks
In a midi track all works fine, Kronos to Logic X, though the sound is dictated by whatever Logic library sound is assigned to it; E.g., synth, piano, orchestral, etc. etc. But what I'm interested in is to directly record the actual sound of the combis or program modes, such as Era of Kronos, etc ...

Re: How to Connect the Kronos to Logic Pro & Ed Fenner's
That sounds like it is use the external drive image for the usb. It doesnt mean anything is installed, just you have stucka a USB in your computer. Did you run the installer from there? Finally got this going today after calling Korg. It was just that I was using the A USB connection instead of the ...

Using Sequencer to Record
Finally fiqured out how to use the sequencer to record some music, pop it into a flash drive as a midi file and drop it into Logic X. My questions are: 1. can this also be saved as a wav or aiff file or some other equivalent? and if so, how? certainly the .sng file is going to be recognized by the ...

Re: How to Connect the Kronos to Logic Pro & Ed Fenner's
Again, it shows up under devices. However, unlike the Yamaha, it does not show up in the MIDI Studio Utility nor is recognized by Logic X. Show ups under "devices" where? What are you looking at when you see this? in the Finder, under Devices. as soon as I download the driver, it shows up there and ...

Re: How to Connect the Kronos to Logic Pro & Ed Fenner's
Oh sorry, system preferences is where i always go to do general troubleshooting; also that's the first place yamaha showed up. Just got off the phone with Logic Pro advisor and we were able to connect the yamaha thru the Midi app and then into Logic. However, for the Kronos, he said I need to ...
