Finally fiqured out how to use the sequencer to record some music, pop it into a flash drive as a midi file and drop it into Logic X. My questions are:
1. can this also be saved as a wav or aiff file or some other equivalent? and if so, how? certainly the .sng file is going to be recognized by the mac. or will the midi file be as good as quality as is needed?
2, how do I record something into the sequencer from the Combi or Prog modules, since you apparently can't be in one or the other and recording in the sequencer or the sampling at the same time.

To record from a program or combi you have to copy it into the sequencer first. You can use auto song setup for this.
Hold down the ENTER key and press the SEQUENCER REC/WRITE key.
The Setup to Record dialog box will open.
