I got the answer.

I’m interested in buying a few Korg Collection 2 instruments. I’m currently using a PC but will move to a Mac next year. So, my question is, “After using KC instruments on my PC this year, will I be able to use my authorization codes on a new Mac?”

I love evolving textures of the Wavestation (I have an SR) but am not interested in rhythmic wave sequencing. The Wavestate demos pretty much showcase the rhythmic capabilities of Wave Sequencing 2.0. Would the Wavestate provide an advantage over the Wavestation SR when it comes to evolving textures?

Nothing else sound cheesier than a synth electric guitar. Guitar playing, especially electric guitar playing, involves so many nuances that it's impossible to emulate on keys. Let keys be keys.

Whatever his intent may be, what he wrote is true. I see Nord on pro stages all the time, followed by Motifs. I rarely ever see the Kronos.

I don't think Korg tries to emulate such a shortcoming. It's an oversight.

Any company can say they have modeled Moog, OB, Prophet, Jupiter filters. But that doesn't mean that those filters sound like real filters.

Korg VA's including the Radias & KK sound more digital than other VA's IMO.

The tube thing is just a gimmick. I am not sure what a single tube can accomplish. Take any rompler and run it through a real tube amp which uses multiple tubes and you will be amazed.

And about guitars: if you buy a guitar for $200 you can't expect much, buy a guitar of around $1000 you get something decent (comparable to Krome?) You don't play the guitar, do you? For $1,000, you can get an American Fender Strat or Tele, which (1) is built like a tank, (2) will last for more ...

I mean Yamaha Motif XS,XF ,Yamaha Tyros, Roland Fantom G ,Kurzweil Pc3k8 and other junk which are based on prehistoric technologies... The grand piano, the Hammond organ and the Minimoog are based on even older technologies. Do you call them junk? No instrument is junk in a competent player's hand ...

Why is it a dealer problem? They sold sealed Kronoses. Alto Music is a Korg dealer.

Adding a Krome 88 would be a waste of money. It doesn't add anything new sonically and the Krome's 88 keybed is below average. I'd go with a Kurz or the Roland A-88 which has a superb keybed.

Same with guitars. While guitarists often slag off synth guitar sounds, if the person playing the synth knows what they are doing, often I would have trouble telling the synth apart from the real thing. If you play guitar, you'll have no trouble telling a synth guitar from a real guitar. The way ...
