Is the TR too bad because of only one IFX?
Hi! I'm a M50 owner which didn't really like it, my KORG X2 had more juice on the sounds, it's just too thin imop... As of the KORG TR which I would like to trade my keyboard for, is it too bad to have just one IFX? Reason I ask is, the M50 has 5 IFX but it sounds just too thin and some sounds are ...

Re: Many tks !!! :D

I still studding Korg's parameters to correlate with Roland's ones in the hope of building the pianos whose parameters I posted in ...

import PRELOAD.M3all to m50 editor Ok so you're importing M3 programs into the M50 but they use different samples, don't they? (EX-USB PCM samples that are not included on the M50). If I'm wrong please correct me. Thanks! oops, you're right Question to you Levis, if I upload a sample from the SP4-7 ...

http://www.purgatorycreek.com/mp3/KurzweilPC3X-NewTripleStrike.mp3 http://www.purgatorycreek.com/mp3/KorgM3-4Way.mp3 I do not think the piano m3 plastic rhodes in m3/m50 better than sp4 In this case you are comparing (4Way) is from the M3 Xpanded. Everyone agrees that the 4Way piano on the M3 is ...

Re: How does the M50 compares to a Kurzweil SP4-7?
I doubt it. It's more flexible in having more sounds, more sound editing capability, more front panel controls, more locations to save custom setups, a built in sequencer, etc. etc. But the samples are the samples, and you can't really make one board sound like the other. Novamusik still has some ...

Re: How does the M50 compares to a Kurzweil SP4-7?
Personally, I think the Kurzweil sounds better, at least for most of the "bread and butter" sounds (EPs, organs, strings, etc.), but the M50 is more flexible. The sticky key issue was a known problem with an early production run, they should be able to fix that for you. Hi, when you say that the ...

How does the M50 compares to a Kurzweil SP4-7?
Hi! I've owned a Korg X2 and Korg Triton Classic before, right now I have a Kurzweil SP4-7 which sounds pretty good imop but the keys are kind of annoying, they get sticky after idle for some time, plus the diplay is tiny and there is no sequencer or drummer. To all you Korg M50 owners, in your ...

Thanks for the input, like I said, I found the Classic "just fine", but back then I didn't really explore it, just having effects is not enough, the effects have to be powerful, I had a Kurzweil K2500 and the effects were monstrous but it had limited sounds and really difficult to program, it was ...

How does the Triton Classic compares to the Korg TR?
How you doing guys, I had a Triton Classic before which I thought it was a fine machine, a bit outdated today, currently I have a Roland Juno-G and I miss the "fatness's" of the Korg sounds so I was considering switching over to a Korg TR which will cost me almost nothing compared to if I was going ...
