Hi! I'm a M50 owner which didn't really like it, my KORG X2 had more juice on the sounds, it's just too thin imop...
As of the KORG TR which I would like to trade my keyboard for, is it too bad to have just one IFX? Reason I ask is, the M50 has 5 IFX but it sounds just too thin and some sounds are not realistic at all, like the Strings, Electric Pianos, etc.
Another question, it's one IFX + 2 MFX?
Thank you
Is the TR too bad because of only one IFX?

Yes, it is one IFX + 2MFX.
The presets actually have a more modern raw sound IMO due to the fewer use of FX. But technically you could achieve the same on a more powerful device, and in reality the IFX becomes quite limiting.
I can't really recommend it. Besides the price of a new or near-new TR is almost as much if not more than some more powerful keyboards 2nd hand. For example the KARMA workstation is good. (I sold my TR to get one), but presets aren't as great. But the sound quality is exactly the same, you just have to spend a bit of time programming.
2nd hand Triton (classic) or Triton Extreme is a better option.

The TR series use the Hi synthesis PCM processor. The chip has the feature to work as master or slave, meaning that a 2nd chip can be used in parallel found on Korg Extreme, a feature found in other brands to increase polyphony and effects stages. The Korg TR use an improved piano samples set from the Oasys series, the 16Mb Bosendorfer piano set. Former Triton and Trinity use a reduced quality piano due less ROM samples space.
The good point about the TR is the RAM expansion option, 64Mb of RAM addressing space + 64Mb ROM samples gives a total of 128Mb, the same space as the M50 when you convert the PCM data to linear form (256Mb) but M50 don´t have the sampling capabilities is only a ROMpler. Watching videos on youtube I really don´t see a big difference in sounds and effects comparing models with Karma feature, Triton, or M50. Karma feature can be also emulated on Tr series with a PC because is a sort of chords and rhythm auto accompaniment generator like an arranger with chord recognition, nothing more.
Other good point in TR series is the design of DAC stages, is good enough but don´t convince me at all. I have the idea to do changes on the circuit improving the quality on DAC aliases filtering and dynamic range, but at factory TR series sounds really good.
On TR an arpegiator is available for accompaniment bases and here you can´t change the type of chord defined on the arp sequence (a mayor, minor, diminished or augmented). Below is a video about the TR sound quality, with the improved piano set and arp sequences.

Hope this is useful to check and decide.
