All..I am having a problem with my X50 ...out of nowhere ...every 4th key is silent on my keyboard...this happened once before and I took it to the service repair guy...he checked it out and said nothing was wrong...that maybe it was a power issue or something...well it has happened again..it is not ...

Hello Ivan...I bump up the levels on the Master Eq on the Program or combi that needs higher volume...that is the only way to do it as far as i know...RW

use combi...i have a laptop that i use to edit the X50...all you have to do is install cd rom that came with keyboard ..then go to a korg website and download X50 driver ..after that all you need is a USB cable to connect keyboard to laptop...graphic interface will make editing so much easier ...

Hi Kasmot...I don't think you can record an entire song on the X50 ...i believe you need a workstation ( i.e. Korg Triton LE ) to do that...you can however create loops with the appegriators and whatever instruments you choose...You really need to read through the Operator manual to see what the ...

Hi Maestro...that happens to me alot also...what i do is hit the enter button on the keyboard ( instead of mouse ) when prompted ...this will usually allow 100% retrieval...sometimes you have to retry a couple of times ...give it a shot and reply..thanks...RW

Thanks for the reply X Trade...I'm familiar with Le Libby...but i was under the impression that the LE came with an editor/Librarian ..( as in a KORG editor ) ...i just can't seem to find it on the internet or anything...am i wrong about that ?...RW

assuming you have downloaded the X50 Editor...it is pretty simple ( espcially if i can do it ..ha ) to assign whatever parameter you want to the Mod wheel..just open the patch navigate the tabs ..you see the Mod wheel assign in there ...RW

Hello all..does anyone out there use the X50 and the X5D...there is a stereo piano patch and a click organ patch on the X5D that i have been trying to duplicate on the X50 ...and have had no luck..just wondering if anybody else has attempted ..as far as i know i cannot export the X5D patches onto ...

Musicman...as Kanthos has said...saving a combi is done by simply going to the Utility tab and pressing "write combi"...( or "write program" depending on what you are in ) ..at that point it shows you where combi ( or program ) is and there is and allows you to input the new location you would like ...
