Well, thnks for the info but I found out how to connect a synth or keyboard by a midi cable about 15 years ago but thanks for the refreshment of my brain 😜

I don't have an M3 keybed also don't have the module. Want to use the m3's keyboard for a project as a midi controller.

Using M3 keyboard with my Kronos

Because the keybed of the M3 is the best ever made and I am missing it a lot, I was wondering if the keyboard can be used without the M3 of Radias module and connect it like any other midi controller. The connector looks like the "to host" that is also used on the Korg 05rw but has 9 pins instead of ...

what would the Kronos do for me...

I use a Roland Fantom X7 full expanded with a clavia nord Electro II live. It works perfect for me, but... sometimes you need to invest some time and money in a new synth just to "stay with the time". My band playes all kinds of stuff; From David Guetta to chris willis, from rage against the machine ...

ok, thank you for your ideas.

I'm going to try dragging instead of ctrl C and ctrl V.

I never tried it, but is it possible to format the usb stick by the M3 itself?
everytime I tried to back up my USB memory stick, I used a new one.

Using USB and copying a USB memory stick

Hi There, A few times tried to copy my USB memory stick (I have the radias and 256 mb installed. With the expanded version you get 3 expansions for free). Now it is very risky to don't have a back up from the memory stick. I was trying to copy it. It is not very difficult to copy the stick. But when ...

Thank you for your reply.

I also thought it had something to do with the velocity curve orso but I think it isn't.

The sound is sounding very cold and I cannot make the same sound when I play the combi on the M3.

sound on M3 changing while playing song on a other synth

Dear musician, My Korg M3 is working very good.... only got one question. I use my M3 in combination with a Roland X7. I use the Roland for programchanging and play most of the songs on it. The M3 I use mostly for solothings like analog sounds (I have the Radias installed). Now I programmed a nice ...

Sound on M3 sound different played by midi

Hello, My Korg M3 73 combi sounds different when I play a combi on another synth. For example: I own a X7 and a Korg m3. sometimes it is easier to player everything on the roland. I Linked the M3 to the X7 and when I programmed a combi on the M3 and I play the combi on the X7, the combi I programmed ...

slow programmchange

Hi there, I use a M3 live with the Radias exp.board. It is a wonderfull machine that is much better and stronger the for example a triton orso. The only thing that is not working fast is switch combi's. When I want to switch a performance it sometimes cost me about 3 seconds (not always). It sounds ...

Factory presets

Hi There,

Does anyone have information about reinstalling the factory presets from the korg triton?

When I bought it, I didn't received any disk to it. I think I need a disk for it.

Could anyone please help me with this?

Kind regards,

Hello Stephen Kay, It is an honour to meet you overhere. It is not that Karma doesn't work perfect, it is just that it is too difficult for the simple arpeggio's I want to use on the M3. I use it in a live band so I do not really use it for playing patterns orso. Maybe Korg will devellope an editor ...

Yes maybe this is an idea, I don't think it is possible that Korg produces a update for the M3 that has an arpeggiator.

They'd rather invest in a new synth...

Ok, than I have buy that one in the future;-)
