1) Change the part mode to mono
2) Higher pitched samples will be faster, that's just how samplers work. More advanced samplers have time-stretching to get round this and compensate, but not the ES2

Can't decide if this was: - An accidental bug - Deliberate design decision - A hardware/software limitation within the Volca FM they couldn't get around I'm baffled as to why it was designed this way, so I'm hoping it'll be fixed in a later firmware, but if it's a hardware limitation - we're stuck ...

Re: Samples as oscillators - envelopes and sustain looping
Can I apply an attack & decay envelope to an sample, specifically one that is has a looped sustain part? Yes, but the sample must have a loop point to operate with a true amp envelope. Also, because the unit has "phony-poly" (paraphonic), each note in a poly part or chord will share a single ...

Samples as oscillators - envelopes and sustain looping
I think I have one last question before I finally take the plunge and pick up an ES2. :P Can I apply an attack & decay envelope to an sample, specifically one that is has a looped sustain part? Say I sample a simple saw wave, and the sample has no envelope, it just starts & stops at same volume. I ...

MIDI loop thru function (in -> out)
I'd like to get an ES2 and one of the things I'd want to use it for is sequencing external gear. I know it can do that but I have a question about the MIDI in and out. I'd like to plug my master keyboard into the MIDI in on the ES2 but then have all the MIDI input data, looped/copied to the MIDI out ...

Mini KP2 with a mixer via aux send/return
Anyone used a Mini KP2 as an effect unit connected to an analogue mixer, via the standard aux send/return ? The issue I have is - the aux send on my mixer goes out via mono jack - and the Mini KP2 takes a *stereo* mini jack for the line in. I've tried every possible combination of cable and adapter ...
