I'm interested to know if anyone has any experience with this MIDI to sync adaptor as well, if it works it would definitely beat disassembling the Monotribe and having to drill holes in the case to mount the jacks.

imo the main drawback to the KP3 though would be the load time for samples (unless there's been an update that addresses that issue?) and the limitation of only being able to play back 4 samples at a time. older gear is always a distinct possibility as well.

it probably has something to do with the lighting or camera in the video washing out the display a bit, I'm sure there's no problem with your Kaossilator and the orange colored display is the morm.
