if you won't pay any more for the Radias with or without the keybed take it all then sell the controller on ebay. sure there are folks out there who would love to have it.

one of these would work for a passive mixer... http://www.ebay.com/itm/DOD-240-RESISTANCE-MIXER-GUITAR-EFFECT-PEDAL-MADE-IN-USA-/251110658489?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item3a775c91b9 I also recall another company making a powered line/mic mixer roughly the same size just a few short years ago. can ...

if you're talking specifically about the pitch shift effect then yes, all you would have to do is engage the hold button. now if you're referring to how you can slow down or stretch a loop or sample with the looper/sample function then no. I'm not sure you could find any hardware device which will ...

o.k., correction, had a look at mine and the range trim pot is connected through the board, not surface mount so could possibly be resoldered as long as you didn't rip any of the traces off the board or break the trim pot itself.

I hear this is a common problem with the Monotrons, have to treat the jacks as if they're as fragile as they actually are. just opened mine up and the jacks appear to have solder points on both the top and bottom of the board. the ones on the top are likely making connection with the circuit, while ...

I think that's referring to the small trim pot used to adjust the range of the ribbon controller, it's on the top left next to the volume dial. I think resoldering it might be a possibility but you or someone you know is going to have to have skill with surface mount components. in the end it may be ...

if I remember correctly the KP2 has a mic input, right? you could always plug in there and adjust the trim level and the synth output as not to overload the input on the Kaoss Pad. the other option would be to just get a mono 1/4" to dual rca cable and connect to the input jack on the back of the ...

I'm interested to know if anyone has any experience with this MIDI to sync adaptor as well, if it works it would definitely beat disassembling the Monotribe and having to drill holes in the case to mount the jacks.

imo the main drawback to the KP3 though would be the load time for samples (unless there's been an update that addresses that issue?) and the limitation of only being able to play back 4 samples at a time. older gear is always a distinct possibility as well.

well there's the Korg MicroSampler... I haven't used it but it fits the bill for your request for a sampler with a keyboard. my other suggestion would be a Roland SP-404, no keyboard but still fairly simple to figure out. I've used one for a number of years (and previous models) and find they're ...

a stereo 1/8" to dual 1/4" mono cable is your best bet. something like this...

I see that the KO2 only has a headphone out and no rca phono jacks.

it probably has something to do with the lighting or camera in the video washing out the display a bit, I'm sure there's no problem with your Kaossilator and the orange colored display is the morm.

I was seriously eyeing the Kaossilator 2 and almost took the plunge, but same deal... reading the negative comments scared me off. I ended up scoring a used KO-1 on ebay for slightly less than $60. it does have its limitations, which I expected, but I'm also not expecting to do an entire finished ...

had a Frostwave Sonic Alienator for awhile a few years ago and never really found all that much use for it, couldn't see the biscuit being substantially different, though it has been a while since I had a look at it. as far as decimator/bit crusher effects I have a preference for the Alesis Bitrman ...
