May you please help me setting up a vocoder program that doesn't have any effect? Is this possible on the Kronos?
i just need to get the sound of my natural voice but with the notes on the kronos. If it is not possible then is there an alternative?

This sounds like a hardware problem. If you have local off and it works normally with MIDI, the software should be fine. I would suspect the keyboard (anything spill in it?) or the circuit that scans the keyboard. KLM-3006 D-jack board or loose cable... Geo It's wierd because it works sometimes ...

You have the DVD drive sitting right on top of some of the buttons on the keyboard. How do you know it is not depressing some buttons and that is preventing it to install properly. That's just a guess on my part. Try loading again with drive not sitting on the keyboard or at least in a place where ...

Unfortunately that didn't worked, the main keyboard of the kronos still triggers sounds by itself ( my main post of the issue is here: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=91700&highlight= ) So the question remains, i need to disable the keys of kronos, use only the external midi ...

How about setting it to an unused channel, like 16, and muting that? I think that should keep the control surface working. At least part level control and tone adjust, not sure about pitch bend and such but perhaps you could use those on the external synth? So, setting up the main keyboard on just ...

The problem is only on the Keyboard and that disables everything on the kronos (all the controllers)
