I understand what you are saying robosardine, but I want clean samples in my esx which can have effects and filters added later. That is why I have the esx. Otherwise, I would have kept using the mpc.

yeah, screw that guy on youtube. using his sx as a midi controller... I bet he could pick up a nanopad now for about 35 bucks. what a waste of space in this ass's studio.

I don't want it. Especially since it comes without midi. I still believe the original KP and the KP3 are my favorites.

I can control parts with midi, but I want to control the entire pattern or song's effect on the esx ...

tim, couldn't you assign the sample-slice to the keyboard part and be able to change the pitch individually? I wish we could make all the drum parts keyboard parts or vice versa.
