Out of curiosity, why would you need a Microsampler if you have the MPC1000? You can sample into that and use 16 levels the same as playing a sample over the keys of the MS, couldn't you? I don't have a MS and I've actually only just heard about it, so this isn't a "Don't buy the MS" answer, it's a ...

The LEDs indicate MIDI data flow. The MK will be sending a constant midi clock, explaining why that LED is lit. The MK won't be receiving any constant messages unless you connect it to a sequencer that sends midi clock data, otherwise you'll only see the LED when data is actually being sent to the ...

Problem connecting MIDI to use the Synth Editor

I am using an M-Audio Midisport Uno USB interface and I have the "To MIDI In" plugged into the MIDI In on the MK, and the Midi Out the same. The USB light is glowing on the interface and the Midi In light is on, but the Midi Out light is dark. I've installed the drivers for XP and I still get the ...

I see this device mostly as an idea creating tool with good sounds build in. The fact that you can power it on and have a groove going on in about a minute or so is very important aspect to this device. And if you have something you like, then you can export the loops to a daw, arrange them and ...

Have you tried the Shift+Align to set all of the samples to start at the same time? Which trigger setting do you have the pads to - default? I know what you're saying about if anything they should be perfectly out of sync - if you have two 4-measure loops and one starts on 3 and the other on 1, they ...

I find that hard to believe - does anyone else feel this way, or is it possible that the user's timing is just off? I mean, I can get the drum patterns to sync just fine, but if I touch the pad a fraction of a note off-beat, yeah it's off, but that's obvious...

Thanks, I had seen someone using their foot while playing guitar on YouTube and I just wondered if there was an easier way. I thought of the 16-bar half/half/splice idea, just didn't know if there was a feature I missed. Thanks for your help!

Any way to count in/wait for input to record on KP3?

Say I'm recording from my guitar into the KP3 - is there any way I can give myself some time to switch from hitting the record button on the KP to playing my guitar? I know the KoPro will wait for input before it starts to record (if nothing's been recorded yet), and if something has been recorded ...

i just got my KP3 yesterday so this might sound dumb...but I'm thinking that since it might just be a timing issue, you ought to try adjusting the start point setting. I have somewhat of a similar problem - I'll record from my mp3 player into the mic jack (don't currently have the cable for line in ...
